Nico is a great talent and with four years of experience in Formula One is a driver who will be able to make a valuable contribution to our team right from the outset. I had the pleasure of working with his father Keke during his Formula One career and it is great to see Nico following in his footsteps.
I believe it is going to happen. It started with a meeting between Michael, Ross Brawn and Daimler chief executive Dieter Zetsche at the Abu Dhabi GP

Formula One showed a benevolent side that isn't always apparent to people
I believe the Brawn team will have Michael Schumacher in it next year. At Abu Dhabi grand prix, Dr [Dieter] Zetsche [chairman of the Daimler board], Ross Brawn and Michael Schumacher were deep in conversation and I believe it was to do with possibly joining the team as driver for the 2010 championship.
Negotiations [with Button] are continuing and the reports that he has already agreed terms with McLaren are not helpful. I would be amazed if that were the case
I believe the Brawn team will have Michael Schumacher in it next year. And my reasons for believing that is that at Abu Dhabi, the grand prix, the last race Dr (Dieter) Zetsche – (chairman of the Daimler board) – Ross Brawn and Michael Schumacher were deep in conversation and I believe it was to do with...

Mercedes is a very important part of our team and without the engine we would not have won the Championship. It was the best engine in Formula One and we have formed a great partnership together. We are looking at all opportunities for the future but it is too early to announce anything yet.
