View Photo »Santos have great players, but when we had two men sent off, they started to go tricky ... You've got to respect the opponent and always play objectively. Most of them didn’t. They've won nothing yet in football. Let’s see how they fare when we meet them again in the finals.
A win against Free State Stars is very important for us as we need to carry this momentum to our Telkom Knockout game against Santos. Having not achieved our dream to win the league, winning the next game is crucial for us
It's a big incentive for Santos to finish fourth in terms of looking ahead to the Top Eight competition, so the players have shrugged off the disappointment of losing to AmaZulu and our bid to end third and are fully focused on beating United in their own backyard
Santos are a compact unit, with a good brand of football, so our focus is not on Erwin but the whole team. Our defensive structure has only conceded two goals in our last seven or eight matches, so we are focusing on the whole Santos team.

Robinho is a lot happier now that he has left Manchester City and gone back to Brazil with Santos ... You can see that he is happy again.
He will come back here after the five months ... He still has a career at Manchester City. I think he's a good player. I'm sorry he's gone to Santos but it's important he gets regular football ahead of the World Cup.
After (the second loss) I was kind a mad with myself ... But Coach (Santos) told me to put my emotions aside and take the final two matches one step at a time.
He wasn't playing enough at City and he's gone back to Santos to play and prepare for the World Cup. Hopefully, he'll do well there and at the World Cup - and come back a better player.
It was one of those controversial games, so obviously Santos will be coming out to prove a point to us that we didn't deserve to beat them. So we will need to take the game to them to prove that we deserved to win. I think it will be an interesting game
It is all about remembering that we have a responsibility to make the Chiefs supporters happy. We need to deliver for ourselves and the team. We failed to win the league obviously but what is done is done and that's why we must go all out to win the game against Santos when we meet them to make sure we ...
We are excited to train at Santos' wonderful facilities in Torreon, Mexico, and we are honored to be playing a friendly against one of the top clubs in Mexico at an incredible venue
He told Dimple that they [the Bench family] will be leaving the place soon and that he would not lock the passenger door where he is seated beside the driver and that [Santos] should enter from that side of the car
We are looking forward to doing well not only against Santos but in the entire tournament
I am glad that Santos' coach talked about the splendid hospitality shown to them in Mozambique but unfortunately we cannot say the same
With a one-goal lead and a two-player advantage, I saw some of the young players at Santos trying to show off. As a professional, you need to respect your opponents and play with class. However, they are still young and have a long way to go. Neymar played with class, but the message is for his teammate...
Santos is as close as there is to a front-runner
Our special teams was solid all year, so (Santos’) goal was big, but that’s what good teams do. They come right back at you and offensively we just couldn’t put it together.
That was huge. That team surprised me. I think they surprised us — our team completely — that (Allen) and (Santos), they were good players. They could have done some damage
I know Santos has the edge in experience and quality of opponents, but he hasn’t faced anyone like me and what I bring to the table. And I am getting even better with each fight. I plan to show that to him, as well as my fans.
Santos Football Club continues to follow their pattern of being part of stadiums Grand Opening events throughout the world ... We are very thankful for the invitation made by the Red Bulls, for it is a great honor to our Club. We are very happy in being able to show the talent of our athletes, including...
We are excited that Robinho, one of the world's top players, will travel to New York to face the Red Bulls for our Grand Opening match ... Santos is an outstanding club and we look forward to great competition as we open our new stadium.
I was with them for just over a month and we trained during the AFCON break as well but it got a bit less as they started to travel to away matches from the latter parts of January. I couldn't participate in important games, but least I was training with Santos and I kept fit.
The club (Santos) is like a family to me, the chairman Mr. Goolam Allie has been there for me and other players over the years and I appreciate that.
Marco Pólo reacted to my call with great sympathy. He thinks that Robinho playing in the game against Corinthians would not only be good for Santos but for all football fans in the area.
