Scott Allen Skiles (born March 5, 1964 in LaPorte, Indiana) is the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks and former American professional basketball player. He also is the former head coach of the NBA's Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Suns. Skiles holds the NBA record for assists in one game, with 30. In 1990-91 he won the NBA Most Improved Player Award. I was in a game when Michael (Jordan) had over 60 once with the Bulls ... We just went to our pick-and-roll game and spread the floor and he got hot. Again. (Jennings) had 55 in three quarters. Very, very impressive performance for anyone, let alone a rookie in his seventh game.
The guys here who played under [former Bulls and current Bucks coach] Scott Skiles know their system ... We have to come out with the right mind-set and play with more urgency on the road. We're 1-2, and that's not the end of the world, but we have to pick it up.
I thought he (Jennings) had a pretty good all around game. We had a really nice floor game again and he easily could have had 10 or 12 assists.
