We're certainly aware of the Panthers running attack ... but I think they'll try to surprise us and come out throwing. Despite his troubles, Delhomme's no slouch. Our defense respects him. In fact, they're a lot like him — they both lead the league in interceptions.
The dome advantage for a home team, and specifically the New Orleans Saints and what we get from our fans, is significant ... Especially in a prime-time game, like Monday night will be, we're getting used to playing in these type of games. We certainly expect it to be as loud as we've had in there. I th...
If a month from now when (NBA fans) are talking about 'If the playoffs started today,' with 60 games left, that would be similar ... We have a lot of tough games left on the schedule.
In the BCS you've got to pay attention to that, but it means nothing after six weeks (in the NFL) ... The Alabamas and the LSUs and the Ohio States, well it means something for them, but it doesn't mean anything for us.

Well, it’s not the BCS ... In the BCS, you have to pay attention to that, but it means nothing after six weeks. The Alabamas and the LSUs and the Ohio States, it means something for them. But it doesn’t mean anything for us.
Well, it’s not the BCS ... In the BCS, you’ve got to pay attention to the No. 1, the (No.) 2, the 3, the 4. That means nothing. After six weeks, we’ve got a lot of football left. The Alabamas, the LSUs, and the Ohio States, all those people, Iowa, that means something for them. That doesn’t mean anythin...
There were a lot of things we didn't do right in the first half but Miami did a lot of things very well
There’s a reward for winning, a feeling that you’ve done something good, but it’s very short-lived as you get ready for the next game ... Miami is a real good football team and this will be a tremendous test for us.
Having come off a Super Bowl not too long ago, they're certainly one of the teams and they have been a playoff team and a team that has had a lot of success when you look at their record from the last three or four years ... It's a real good challenge for us.
Steve Smith is having an outstanding season
Mike Bell is back and we just want to see the progress of how he's doing and how Pierre's doing ... Lynell's been healthy and doing a good job. So, it's unlikely that we'll take four running backs into the game, and yet this has a chance to be the first week where all four are healthy.
Looking back, that was a big win for us entering the bye week ... The bye is going to be beneficial for us and allow us a chance to get some guys who are nicked up a little bit, like (RB) Mike Bell, (LT) Jermon Bushrod, (CB) Malcolm Jenkins and (TE) Darnell Dinkins, to get better and get back in the lin...
He knows that your legacy is your wins and winning a Super Bowl ... That's ultimately how quarterbacks and coaches are remembered.
Now don't go making Williams a rock star ... But he's been such a great addition. There're two things he's done a great job at. We've got [an NFL-best] nine takeaways. And we're top five in the league in fewest big plays allowed. Those two things have been our Achilles' heel on defense around here, and ...
I just think when you play in the elements, we're not really interested in style points ... We're interested in winning. That's our job.
There are a lot of weapons we have to account for ... We start with Brian Westbrook. They have a lot of team speed. It’s a little more challenging trying to envision which quarterback. The one thing that has made it difficult to defend Donovan is the amount of plays he’s able to extend, step up in the p...
That's something that we're going to have to look at ... A lot of it will be dependent on if Pierre is 100 percent. We think this is a week where he's going to be able to come back. We'll have to be smart with our personnel and our packages. ... And yet you still don't want to affect how a guy like Mike...
