A Russian warplane dropped a bomb on an apartment block in the Georgian town of Gori on Saturday, killing at least 5 people, a Reuters reporter said. Sachin (Tendulkar) has had a long career and when you play for that long, you are bound to have a series like this ... He was scoring all those runs in Australia not too long ago. I am sure he will bounce back. Rahul (Dravid) and Sourav (Ganguly) are very fine players, and Rahul showed signs of feeling comfortable towards the end of the series. I can’t understand how one bad series will make you no good anymore, and people start speculating about your future. 
You cannot ask a Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman or Anil Kumble to prove their credentials
Everybody has got starts. Sachin (Tendulkar) was batting brilliantly in the second innings and Rahul (Dravid) also. Sourav (Ganguly) spent some time at the SSC but didn’t get the opportunity here. Otherwise Laxman has been in the runs so it’s not really a worry.
It is disturbing that we lost despite having senior players like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and V.V.S. Laxman in the team. We need to look into the matter
I see this series a test for our bowlers like Murali and Ajantha against Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly. Rahul Dravid and V V S Laxman have also been in good form in Tests
Ganguly's presence in a football match will be a star attraction; maybe he'll play for a two-minute slot in one of the I-League matches. Again, it all depends on Ganguly`s availability from his cricketing assignments
He will sign for us on his return from Sri Lanka after playing the Test series
He will play in one match, may be for two minutes. His presence will motivate our players and help promote Indian football in the country and outside. Finally, he will ensure a strong fan following for us
It is entertaining and I am sure entertainment has nothing to do with age. It has to do with performance and it is a game where performance counts and nothing else. It is a game where even the traditionalists can excel and they have in this IPL.
We lost Chris Gayle due to injury; Brendon McCullum and Ricky Ponting were available for only a couple of initial games. We didn’t have (Brad) Hodge and then Shoaib (Akhtar) for as many matches as we would have liked. It has been tough on this count but I am happy to say that we found some players who grabbed the opportunities.
