Overall our team win and this is what counts
I was doing too many unforced errors. I didn't serve good. I was just struggling to find my game ... I lost confidence, I was very frustrated.
Australia is always hard for me. First grand slam of the year, first part of the year. I only played a few matches. I couldn't manage
It's the best I've seen her play last two years I think
To play good and try to win Grand Slams, you have to be able to perform and to pass through difficult moments like this. Definitely it was not the best schedule for me, but it's not an excuse at all. I had all the chances to win, I just didn't use it.
I was struggling with finding my rhythm the entire match
I don't understand why we started to play after men anyway ... We need equality, I know. The men complained, it sounds weird, but anyway it's tough.
I worked especially on coming on a bit more to the net because I had the defensive game
It doesn't matter how bad you play, when you come to Grand Slams, it's like, you just get there, and it's special. This is what I work for, you just enjoy it so much
No, I don't do today my best today yet. I can do better
Yes, definitely, I know all the way how to go. I’ve done it twice ... It’s exciting. You always have different motivation at the Grand Slams. I love to play here.
Overall I think I played aggressive
I just get extra motivation when I play slams ... This is for real. This is for what you play for.
I think I've done a good pre-season, I've worked hard and I've enjoyed it
Yes, definitely, I know all the way how to go - I've done it twice ... It's exciting. You always have different motivation at the Grand Slams - I love to play here.
For me, when they told me, I was really surprised
You can't play your best every week
Nobody talks about it ... I think if you have been approached you are not going to go and say to everybody and if you've been approached and you say 'yes', you definitely have nothing to say.
I really enjoy visiting Sydney. It is a beautiful city and a great place to begin the new season
