After a few weeks of that, I started to look at those two foods – side by side – and wonder: ‘Why am I eating the Taco Bell when I could be eating something healthier?’
Well, a few months before the program, my son decided he wanted to be a healthy person ... Every night we’d sit down to eat and I’d have a Taco Bell bean burrito and he’d have a salad and chicken.
The only options on campus are the dining hall or places like Chick-fil-A and Taco Bell, so it's good to have some healthy options off-campus
Go Mart, Taco Bell, Gino’s — these are dollars that come in to them that are consistent. I don’t know that we’ve fully looked at the economic impact that students bring to the Valley, but it’s certainly a blessing for us to have the colleges.
