It's brilliant ... For me, it confirms the potential he has always had. He's getting older and is more mature as a bike rider. Having him and Taylor Phinney to go up against in London would have given me hunger and motivation, but if the event isn't in the Olympics, I won't be back.

I can say this: Lance’s goal was for Taylor to ride a pursuit bike in London for gold in 2012
