If discussions with Telstra progress and we reach the agreement that we hope we're going to reach … then there could be changes
We're committed to passing the legislation. Obviously if discussions with Telstra progress and we reach the agreement that we hope we're going to reach … and those discussions continue to be constructive, then there could be changes
With a target of around 18,000 members from around Australia, Telstra expects to get a good understanding of customer experiences across the board. 'My Telstra Experience' panel will help Telstra improve customer service, tailor our products and improve delivery of our services to better meet our custom...
Work will start immediately with the installation of DOCSIS 3.0 software and related infrastructure in the Melbourne cable network. Telstra will invest about $300 million in the cable upgrade this calendar year.
Asia is a very important market for Telstra and the creation of this new unit enables us to take a coordinated approach to our performance in the world’s fastest-growing markets
Today I am taking another step to organise Telstra around our core strategy - to compete in the fastest-growing markets in Australia and overseas, lead the industry by investing in new products and services, and deliver a better experience for our valued customers
Telstra is a good example, using multiple channels, using Twitter for customer service, blogs and Facebook
to access a highly reliable network, and have direct connectivity to branch offices in Vietnam and Cambodia... [and] allows Telstra International to offer customers traditional private line and Ethernet private line services in both countries.
The AARNet business represented a wealth of knowledge and expertise acquired in the first five years of the Internet in Australia which was now being transferred to Telstra to help it get up the learning curve.
I want to make it absolutely clear that the Government will not be directing the Board in relation to its Telstra shareholdings as is allowed under the Future Fund Act, including the exercising of its voting rights in relation to any shareholder vote on structural separation
The Australian Government had no involvement in this (Future Fund) decision ... Nor did the Future Fund have any prior access to or knowledge of Government plans in relation to Telstra or the national broadband network.
This is a big week for us. We're having debates about the ETS, we're having debates about Telstra and, on Friday, with BHP and Rio, it is the 12-month anniversary of dropping the bid for Rio
achieved significant strategic milestones in the period to date, including the arrival of the world's first commercial 21Mbps 3G wireless Internet router, as part of an ongoing supply contract with Telstra, and a contract awarded to the company by United Arab Emirates telecommunications carrier Etisalat...
I'd expect News to be an interested party and I can certainly say on our behalf that we would be an interested party, but I don't hold out much hope for that eventuality. I personally doubt that very much that Telstra would ever, ever dispose of its interest in Foxtel.
We want to take the Clipsal 500, Bathurst, Gold Coast and the Sydney Telstra 500 and turn them into a Grand Slam for V8s
If I had my choice of buying Telstra out of Foxtel or FTA, I would take the former
Mr. Burgess no longer lives in Australia and no longer works for Telstra and he certainly doesn't have the appreciation of most of the Australian media (at least Jenkins got that bit right!) - but, by keeping up the fight, he just might be helping Australians avoid a terrible mistake.

We are now able to provide online and mobile advertisers with high-quality and robust customer data through the relationship with Telstra
They huffed and puffed about the privatisation of Telstra when there was a Coalition government and ultimately did nothing about (reform in the sector)
Well, I'm glad I'm working for CMH and not Telstra
There was definitely some rotation out of cyclical stocks today and into some defensive plays like Telstra, Foster's, Woolies and CSL. In fact, the healthcare sector was by far the best performer of the day.
It might not be something that Telstra would prefer to do, but I certainly think they would be explaining to the Government as part of the negotiations that 'if we structurally separate, this is what is going to happen' and that it’s not going to be to the benefit of the NBN Co
If Telstra does separate, that's not necessarily going to be to the benefit of the NBN Company ... If you’ve got a network asset company that holds those copper and HFC networks, they are still going to be looking to maximise the cash flow that they get out of that business.
