View Photo »I saw that stat earlier this week, and I sure hope it sustains itself ... This team more than that team has been through some coaches, and for that stat to hold up is pretty incredible. But we're both trying to find our way here with new teams and new staffs and new leadership overall. I think, really, ...
I want to apologize to the fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and the rest of the NFL, Commissioner (Roger) Goodell, the Chiefs organization, coach Todd Haley, his staff, and my team mates for the words I used yesterday
I just think if we could get back on track and win this game, I won't feel like (San Diego) was a step back ... I'll feel like we're actually making progress.
We had back-to-back wins, one against a division opponent and one against the defending Super Bowl champions, and had a chance to play the Chargers and didn't get the job done ... There were a bunch of positives actually, but the score told the story. I won't say it's a step back until we see how we res...
In the NFL, every week there's another one coming at you ... I just don't think we handled that. Whatever it was, whether it was coming off Pittsburgh, I can't say exactly what it was without putting some more time into it. From my vantage point, it was an opportunity to see if we could take another lit...
In the NFL, every week there’s another one coming at you
He said, 'In 32 years in the NFL, I've never beaten the Steelers ,' ... That's from a Western Pa. guy who's been wanting to beat the Steelers for a long time. It's a nice win for all of us.
There is no doubt that there hasn’t been a whole lot of wins going on and a lot of those guys in the locker room hadn’t won a game like that against a team like that ... So they’ve worked really hard and they need to see some positive results. To get it against the defending Super Bowl champions are def...
I wish Studebaker would have scored on the interception ... That would have been full retribution [for last year’s Super Bowl]. I was thinking I’d finally be able to put that interception return away. My mom and dad are in town today. I know it means something to my dad [Dick Haley].
I felt like going into this game, this would be a great opportunity to measure where we were as a team ... That team we played today is as well a coached team in the league as there is. They're the model for what we're striving to get to and that's something that's been going on for a long time since I'...
I don’t look at it as any kind of redemption because we are in Kansas City now and we’ve got a totally new team with a new staff ... A couple of us that were in that game happen to be here, but we are trying to get better every day, find our way, find our identity and we have a chance to play one of the...
I know the Super Bowl was a surreal experience, having to play of all the teams, the Steelers ... Now we get to play them again and I'm just looking forward to the challenge.
That would never be a bad thing ... This has been a long time in the making for the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is something that was established back in the ’70s, a blueprint they set about in the entire organization.
Over the last couple of weeks, Scott (Pioli) and I have been spending a lot of time and energy, along with (owner) Clark Hunt, in talking about this and trying to figure out the direction that we wanted to go ... We decided that it is the best interest of the Kansas City Chiefs organization to move forw...
It wouldn't be fair ofme to try to comment on that in any way other than to say the totality of the situation was factored in — what we felt was best for the Kansas City Chiefs
They've got to quarterback the defense ... Mike Brown does a great job of that, and he'll help DaJuan in that area, take some of the pressure off him. He still has to communicate and know what's going on. I feel comfortable with where he's at.
As a youngster, you thought the Super Bowl came every other year, but you realize real quick when you see your father stay in the business for as long as he has and not ever get back to one, it is hard
Making gay slurs on your Twitter account? ... That's akin to rushing for 2.7 yards per carry, because they'll both get you time off the field. Ironically, Larry's the one making gay slurs, but he's also the one putting a foot in his mouth. But I didn't come here to 'L.J.-bash.' It's not all about Larry ...

His speed is pretty good, maybe better than you’re giving him credit for ... He was a vertical threat for San Diego. He does give us some speed and vertical explosion. He adds a little to the mix. He’s been able to stay relatively healthy, and you haven’t seen a drop-off in speed. I’ve kind of been taug...
I'm very proud of the route that I took to get to where I am right now ... I'm very proud to have grown up around, in my opinion, one of the best football people there is, and to be around the teams and players that I was around on a daily basis. I think I've earned what I've done in the NFL through har...
I think it’s another step in our development ... It’s our first time after a victory. I wish we had tested this out four weeks ago, but it is what it is and we’ve got to get ready for San Diego. At least we’re doing so with a little positive reinforcement.
My expectations were about on with where we're at ... I was a scout with the Jets when we went 2-14 and 1-15... and the very next year, we went 9-7. Dallas, which had been downtrodden for an extended period, I was able to be part of turning that in the [right] direction and then Arizona. ... There weren...
I just think that having been in Arizona for two years ... I really thought that was something that hurt us – the fact that it was too nice all the time. We were never in the mental mindset to play in those conditions.
Miles is a guy who was in Dallas when I was and he was acquired, and I've got to take my hat off to him. He's been working, trying to find his way. He made a couple of huge plays, probably the biggest of his career. We've got to cover better and we've got to tackle better. Period
