I would say so ... For way beyond me and Tom Izzo, this has been a great series for years and years.
I think games in the past, that was a problem
For everybody, even way beyond me and (Michigan State Head Coach) Tom Izzo, this has been a great series for years and years and years when these two schools compete so hard against each other. I'm sure Michigan State is extremely excited about their opportunity and we are as well.
It makes it a bigger rivalry when both teams are doing well ... Anytime you've got a rivalry with two ranked teams, that just stokes the fire even more. We're not Duke-North Carolina yet, but that's what everybody hopes it will be. When both teams are ranked year after year and playing each other, that'...
Coming out of high school ... I never thought this would be his strength
I find it amusing that we have a tendency to say, in general, where it's unpredictable it makes it not as good ... But the problem is the league is the best it's been in years and years, especially top to bottom. I haven't seen anything really unpredictable. I've almost seen everything pretty predictabl...
It's hard to believe, but I've been on both sides of this fence
That's just the way it is and that's the way it should be. It should be respected — I don't know if hatred ever can be a good word because if you respect somebody, you can't hate them — but it should be respected, but disliked. It's the way it is. Green's thoughts weren't far from his coach's. It's very...
It has been kind of a roller coaster for both teams in some ways ... I think it's good for the rivalry. I think it's good for the state of Michigan. ... Both teams, I think, deserve to be ranked.
Do I respect John Beilein?
You never want to lose three in a row to anybody and when it's you're in-state rival, it's always important
Any time you have two teams from the same state that are 50-60 miles from each other, theres always an extra incentive
I wanted to tell them to remember why we didn't win this game
I just think that's life in the Big Ten, anybody can beat anybody ... That was a very good team that beat us, and a very good team that's lost to a couple other people.
Curletti was the difference in the game, if you ask me ... We had rebounds, they took them from us and scored three different times.
I didn't see it happen ... One of the guys came and told me. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I did check on it after the game, and our doctor said that everything seems to be OK with her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her. That was tough.
I did check on it afterward, and our doctor said everything was going to be OK with her ... So our thoughts and prayers go out to her.
They wore down a little bit
Big win for us ... Kind of old-school basketball in a way.
If our two best players start playing better, which they did tonight, a good team becomes potentially a really good team ... and I think that's the way we're heading.
Mark Dantonio had to love that game ... It was as physical and hard-fought as maybe we could play.
You've got to go with your horse ... Keith, tonight, was the horse that I think he should be. Whether he can keep doing that, we'll see. But he sure did look like the player that I thought he'd be this year -- and under tough circumstances, too, because those guards were checking, and they were good.
At the time he went down, he was really playing well ... Defensively, running the lane, all the things Branden (Dawson) wasn't doing, Austin was doing, and I thought brought tremendous energy to us. It was only eight minutes but it was an important eight minutes.
We're going to get this back where it belongs
