My perception is that probably when he got there the talent was down ... They lost their defensive coordinator (Carl Torbush) this last summer on very short notice. Two years, I think, for almost any coach inheriting that situation, is probably not enough.
Every year is an opportunity for growth, and we're going to work on our weaknesses and add to our strengths ... We're going to play hard at the defensive end and hang out hat there until we improve our offensive skills.
