It’s tough because we had every intention of coming up here and winning this football game ... We don’t care about the December talk. The season will be written when it’s over. I know that’s part of it until we win in December. This team just needs to win and we need to win this upcoming game [San Diego...
Tony Romo (Dallas quarterback) hasn‘t been looking sharp in the last few games
I think this New York team is still searching for its identity ... Well, I know exactly where it is. It's in the nine digits at Riker's Island corresponding to Plaxico Burress' prisoner number. But there are a number of Giants in need of 'correctional' facilities, notably their defensive and offensive l...
The key to stopping their offense is making them one-dimensional ... As good as Tony Romo is, we want to put him in third-and-long situations. They have a great offensive line, they play well together, and they have three backs who probably can start for just about any team in this league.

We've had better Mondays, but it's part of playing in the National Football League ... It's slowly getting better, and by game day I should be good to go. It's going to take a lot more than this to keep me out.
They had a big job up there ... We wanted to get pressure on (Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo), keep him in the pocket and stop the run and get the ball to come out quick when they had to pass.
If we minimize the mistakes, I think we have a good chance of being a pretty darn good ballclub ... I know that New Orleans goes out there in the first two weeks and lights it up and then, all of a sudden another team holds their offence to 10 points. A lot of it is that perception side that people talk...
In a very public display of presumed rivalry ... in 2008 singer and actress Jessica Simpson appeared with her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, wearing a shirt with the tagline Real Girls Eat Meat. Fans interpreted it as a competitive dig at Romo's previous mate, who is a vegetarian.
When we first got to Eastern Illinois, this was nothing that we ever had in our minds ... We never thought this could happen. This is just all of the benefits of the hard work.
I don't know why on God's earth Tony Romo has been anointed a superstar in the (NFL). Tony is very young in his career. Not to say you can't be young in your career and be a superstar because you've got one up there in Minnesota in Adrian Peterson. But the thing is this: You have a guy who hasn't done m...

Any time you're in a situation we're in, or Kansas City, you need these games ... This one's as important as they come. We know that. We're going to leave it on the field and do everything we can to win this game.
Tony Romo was anointed as a star without doing anything in the NFL
It's frustrating to go out there and play like that when your defense played so well ... We just couldn't get a good rhythm going. And (Denver) did a good job on us. They're No. 1 in the NFL (on defense) for a reason. They've got a really good secondary and they brought some pressure. We had a tough tim...

I feel as though each week when we come out here and play the game that there are two things we are trying to do ... The first is try and win the game, and that's the No. 1 goal every week. We want to continue to grow and get better ... This is a long season. [Critics] crown champions every year in September, in October, and every year some other team wins the Super Bowl.

It's just part of being quarterback in the National Football League ... Everybody goes through it. If you haven't, then you're probably not a very good quarterback. It's just part of the process of improving and getting to where you want to go.
It changes ... There will be some great team here for the first six weeks that will have the Super Bowl wrapped up, and there will be another for the next six weeks, and then there will be another team. That's just part of football.
This league is still about winning and losing. When you go 9-7, you're not exactly knocking on the Super Bowl door ... fly under the radar.
