View Photo »I've enjoyed being on the ESPN campus, and I know that I probably just gave half of you guys heart attacks hearing me say that ... But I truly have enjoyed talking about it. I feel like I was a part of something Sunday that was really special, and I'm very proud of that fact.
Honestly, being put in a position where we just didn't have anything to lose, we had the opportunity to gain win the championship
If you didn't think this was one of the most exciting Chases to watch from a fan standpoint, you've got to go to a doctor immediately and get checked out
When we won that Outlaw race earlier this year . . . maybe it sparked something then
I think that as much as it scared our management worrying about me getting hurt and how many people it can affect, (crew chief Darian Grubb) can tell you , when I would come back, it energized me
I just hope I don't get so screwed up tonight that I find the keys by accident and try riding it around on the lake on the backstretch.
I know what the status is for the rest of the night. ... I'm going to get him drunk. Tomorrow, if we can just pick our heads up off the floor without throwing up, I'm going to be extremely happy.
Hopefully, no matter who it was this is a shot in the arm our sport needed
I know there have been times he hasn't done everything perfect and he's taken it upon himself to settle scores
Martinsville was a big turning point, obviously, being able to battle the adversity and come out on top and still be a contender

It is an honor to be in the same category with Alan Kulwicki, but Alan did it all on his own
I still felt we still had the opportunity to maybe salvage a top-five [finish in the Chase]
It was one of the best battles in the history of the sport. The top two literally fought it out. Hopefully, no matter who [won], it is the shot in the arm the sport needs now.
I'm very flattered and very honored to just be part of that list
I'll be honest, Carl Edwards I thought did an excellent job of going into Homestead, also ... With the fact that he hasn't won a championship, I thought he dealt with the pressure very well. I firmly believe that he's going to get one pretty soon here.
