Everyone in Minnesota knows how big a fan [Twins first baseman] Justin [Morneau] is of hockey ... He's always in tough here because he is a Vancouver fan, but he's also a Wild fan. He has his 1A, 1B. But for me, it's real easy. I'm not a Seattle Mariners fan or a Toronto Blue Jays fan. I am a Twins fan.
I have a good friend in J.P. Ricciardi, but at the very end of the day we determined we were going to make a move and we would make it right now ... J.P. took it very, very well. He's a real gentleman and he obviously has some real compassion for the Toronto Blue Jays.
I'm a lifelong Toronto Blue Jays fan, and this year began a consulting assignment that has me living in San Francisco most of the time
