For me, it's a no-brainer because to me he's the best pitcher, hands-down, in the American League ... My hope is that they don't look at the fact that he's pitching for what right now is a last-place team. I hope they do look at the fact the team he pitches for has the fewest runs in the American League...

He's the guy for me. It's a no-brainer for me ... If anybody is going to evaluate it fairly before his last start against Boston I heard some of the buzz that he doesn't have to pitch against the American League East just look at the statistics.
Tug had a real strong showing ... Eddie had some good players to work with and he had a lot of nice things to say on the MLB Network about the team chemistry and the atmosphere. Eddie deserves a lot of credit.
I think it's outstanding for Eddie and Team USA ... I think it's an outstanding accomplishment, and it's obvious they made a great selection with his experience in international baseball. I'm just thrilled to death we'll get to congratulate him in New York; it'll be great to have him back.
