View Photo »I've been around a long time, that's all that means ... Winning games is what really matters. If I had 500 points and five [championship] rings, I'd take [it].
coach Erik Spoelstra essentially played eight and trusted seven, with only Udonis Haslem and Mario Chalmers getting significant minutes off the bench, with each playing well.
It's not really a distraction ... Nobody knows anything about that situation. I know we've won three in a row and we've got to continue to try to move forward.
Entering Saturday’s game, Udonis Haslem, somewhat surprisingly, stood second only to Wade (286 points) in fourth-quarter scoring this season for the Heat, at 197 points. Haslem also leads the Heat with 12 overtime points this season.
I really don't know what's going on

We've always brought it back after losing a couple in a row. We'll lose a couple in a row and everybody counts us out but all season we've been able to come together and bounce back. We get back on the right track and that's what I'm expecting this time. A lot of guys on this team have a lot of pride so...
A: Udonis Haslem is the Heat's best defensive player when it comes to the team's system
We can't take these games for granted ... We haven't earned the right to take games for granted.
A: Michael was making a few mistakes before he was pulled, with Spoelstra at one point spinning toward the bench about a screen Michael didn't set. That said, the approach inspires little faith that Spoelstra has faith in Michael. But, to be fair, Udonis Haslem came in and made three huge jumpers, plus ...
I think overall we played well without Dwyane ... We gave ourselves a chance to win. They just made plays and we didn’t.
Pat Riley, Hall of Fame coach to Magic, Kareem, Ewing, Worthy, etc., is infatuated with Udonis Haslem. So much so, that it has clouded his judgement in personnel decisions? That's interesting, man.
They outplayed us down the stretch ... They made the plays they needed.
I think we defended well in the first half ... The second half we had a little slippage but we got back to it. I think we just really really wanted this one.
I just tried to be aggressive ... We just really, really wanted this one. We've got a special thing going on right now.
It was just taking advantage of my opportunities ... You've got to stay in the game, stay in the moment, and when your opportunity comes and your number's called, you've got to embrace the moment and take advantage of it.
We're just playing with a lot of energy ... I'm proud of the way we've been able to bounce back after losing five in a row.
Offensively, he's being more patient, taking his time, making smarter plays and making his teammates better ... Defensively, he's not right all the time. But I can see him trying to get to the area. I can see him fighting his guy in the lane for position, trying to make it tough on the catch. As opposed...
This is a huge, huge win for us ... Going into the break with a win like this takes a little bit of the weight off our shoulders.
This doesn't change the fact that we lost five in a row before these two ... But we can go into the break with a little weight off our shoulders.
We just came in with an unbelievable focus ... We just came out like we were desperate, and that's what we're supposed to do.
I think the reason why we're losing is purely basketball stuff
Just look at other teams and I don't get overwhelmed by their roster ... Taking nothing away from Cleveland, they're one of the best teams in the league. They got LeBron; we go D-Wade. They got Shaq averaging about 12 and seven; we got J.O. averaging about 12 and seven. They got Mo Williams averaging 16...

I get put in a category, but I'm much more than a utility player ... If I wanted to score 20, trust me, I could. I've settled for a lesser role to help my team win because I'm all about winning. Make no mistake about it. The thing that makes me special is that I can do other things without the ball. Whe...
