It just so happens that we (the Britons) played on the same day. Obviously everyone tried their best, but Heather played Victoria Azarenka who is in great form, so that was a tough draw and Anne had a virus. I am not trying to make excuses for us, but I don't think it's a disaster.

I didn't get my coffee in the morning today, so I was really pissed off
I think it was a good performance ... There are a few things for me that I have to work on tomorrow to be better in my second round, but you know, I take what I get. I cannot complain.
Well, the score is easy. To actually play the match, it's never easy, especially for me coming here only Saturday
