Obviously it is good to be playing in London again because I have had so much success at Wimbledon, but to play in an arena that is new to tennis (the O2 Arena) is really exciting.
The year was 1988 and the event the Wimbledon women's final between Steffi Graf and Martina Navratilova. Navratilova had been the winner for the previous six years and had beaten the same rival in the 1987 final. Full Article at Sportingo

This game has come a bit too soon but Wimbledon is realistic next Saturday. I cannot afford for him to break down for the sake of one game and, if he took a whack on it at this stage, that could set him back another six weeks.
I don't like to play on this surface. After a while, I get bored. I completely lost motivation, and I I give up on Wimbledon. It is definitely not the tournament for me. I hate this, I have to admit it. I don't think I will be coming back here again. I love tennis, but I just don't like grass.
