When (Zenyatta) hit the wire, it was like everybody won ... I mean, horse racing won when she hit the wire. She made us all leave here feeling good about our sport. It was like a movie script. They couldn't have written it any better. Then for her to make that run. And then the fans, I've never been at ...
She has such a presence ... When John Henry stepped on the racetrack, you could see him puff up. Zenyatta does that, too, as soon as you bring her over.
If they don't reward her with Horse of the Year, it would be a travesty, or at least co-Horses of the Year [with Rachel Alexandra]. Zenyatta made the Breeders' Cup. And the way she won. I've never seen a crowd so captivated. It felt like a horse winning the third leg of the Triple Crown.
I was disappointed that he didn't run better, but what a thrill seeing history being made by Zenyatta
To me, you can't take anything away from Rachel (Alexandra), but Zenyatta, if you don't reward her, then something is wrong with our sport
I wish they would have brought her, so we could prove what Zenyatta is really about
I was disappointed my horse didn’t run better, but what a thrill seeing history made by Zenyatta ... It was the only time in horse racing that I didn’t mind getting beat in a race. If they don’t reward her with horse of the year, it would be a travesty. Zenyatta made the Breeders’ Cup. And the way she w...

When she got out and started to come with her big challenge I got excited and when she crossed the finishing line in front it was unbelievable. What a great, great filly. It has been an amazing Breeders' Cup. In my yard Life Is Sweet is a princess, but Zenyatta is a queen.
I wish they would have brought her here so we could have proved to the racing world what Zenyatta's really about ... I'm not going to go out and say I'm going to beat her, because that's just someone's opinion, but I would have gave anything to run against her.

Life Is Sweet is the princess, and Zenyatta is the queen in my barn
At a mile and an eighth, I think it would be quite easy for Rachel Alexandra. Those championship fillies that get into the race and have that high cruising speed are very hard to run down. In order for Zenyatta, in my opinion, at a mile and an eighth at Churchill Downs, to beat Rachel Alexandra, she'd h...
Zenyatta would make Rachel Alexandra wish she was never born ... She's a better horse. Rachel Alexandra is a fabulous race horse, there's no getting around it, but Zenyatta is a running machine.
You could make a case for four or five horses in here to win the race ... I would disagree with people who say it's Zenyatta and then the rest of the field. She is not the leading contender for me. She's one of them.
