When a machete-wielding intruder recently accosted Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer in his Caribbean vacation home, absconding with $1,000, reports of the incident glossed over one significant detail. In the moments—possibly the hours—leading up to... Full Article at Newsweek

And it’s not because you thought it was going to be easy ... You know when you support a guy name Barack Hussein Obama for president of the United States, you’ve got to assume that the odds may not be in your favor. But what you understood was the campaign was not about me, it was about our common visio...
Economically populist and socially conservative, these blue-collar, largely Catholic, largely unionized workers tend to swing. In 2008 they helped put Barack Obama over the top. In 2010 they returned to the GOP. Now they seem to be recoiling from Romney. Full Article at Newsweek
Answer: it would inflict yet more economic misery on Europe, which gives Brussels a big incentive to avoid such a showdown. And that’s why, even as his government threatened to ban oil exports to Europe, Iran’s top nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili,... Full Article at Newsweek

View Photo »Gov. Romney's super PAC has put an ad out there suggesting that I voted to allow felons to be able to vote for president, because they said I allowed felons to vote
I did switch over to Timeline, and I love it. It's the first change Facebook's made that I actually prefer. It just seems so much more organized, though I do miss the old wall format. I love the cover photo, though. I'll never have to pick between two profile pictures again.
If that's part of your campaign, then questioning it is equally legitimate.
As for myself, I have not converted to the Timeline and I don't plan on it. When I look at other Facebook users' Timelines, I think they are confusing. One thing I do like about Timeline is that you can look back to statuses and pictures from when you first had a Facebook and see how much people have ch...
Not only could violent felons vote after they exhausted their sentences, but they could vote when they were on probation and parole

We lost badly in that [circulation] area and we kicked his butt everywhere else
I don't think I could ever go back because it feels so good to not be on Facebook ... You feel better about yourself. You don't worry about what other people are thinking. You just kind of live in the moment.
This is going to be Armageddon
I absolutely love the new Facebook Timeline thing. All it does is remind me of the amazing people I have in my life. :)
Here we see the front-runner out there with the most liberal record in the field now out there trying to tear down other folks instead of talking about what he wants to do for this country
Sometimes you don't need a picture to tell a story. The numbers speak for themselves — 1.7 million jobs lost under Obama.
I’m the consistent conservative
There’s no more time for talking about stopping Mitt Romney. We’re going to do it next week in South Carolina or he’s almost certain to be the Republican nominee.
we can't afford to repeat the mistakes that have been made in the past - after World War II, after Vietnam - when our military was left ill-prepared for the future.

I only had one problem. I couldn't get in all the things I wanted to say.
is not inconsistent with the fact that Facebook has to provide financial disclosure in April ... So that's definitely added incentive for them to provide financials through an S-1.
It tells you everything you need to know about the difference between Barack Obama and the five of us: we actually think work is good
Facebook has rewritten the rules for social networking, and at this point they could blaze whatever trail they'd like to
We've got a president in office three years and he does not even have a jobs plan yet ... I've got one out there already and I'm not even the president yet.
He may want to revisit a speech about religion. I think some people will have a hard time voting for a Mormon, but many will understand the policies that he stands for are [better] when compared to President Obama.
Jon ran a spirited campaign based on unity not division, and love of country ... I appreciate his friendship and support.
Romney wasn't built in a day - he was carefully crafted, focus group by focus group to be sold to the largest number of people. Even his Facebook posts seem painfully focus-tested...rarely has so much pandering been crammed into 420 characters.
New York City pays their janitors an absurd amount of money because of the union ... You could take one janitor and hire 30-some kids to work in the school for the price of one janitor, and those 30 kids would be a lot less likely to drop out. They would actually have money in their pocket. They’d learn...
