He can’t win the NCAA, so he’s bringing kids in to win the PIAA. I hope only the worst.
I felt like we played well this postseason ... We played well in our first playoff game, played well two weeks ago and, at times, made some plays against the Saints. We just didn't play well enough to win.
I can't imagine that would take more time, or be a logistical nightmare that 96 teams might be. To me, with 96 teams it becomes something more than March Madness. I think you have near perfection in the NCAA tournament as it is, and to me it would move up a notch if we could have four opening-round game...
I think I’d have a hard time saying that. We stopped ourselves for the most part.
You being silent to me, I understand exactly what you're trying to say. Because of the lack of communication that they've had with us, if somebody asks me, 'Do I want to stay in Carolina and play for the Panthers next year?' It's like, OK, well, how can you say you want to be somewhere if you're not rea...
It's certainly disappointing ... Very disappointed.
I have a great job – a tough job – but a great job ... This is my dream job. I'm frustrated like the fans are. In this business, success is defined by going to the NCAA tournament and that hasn't happened here since 1991. I feel the same frustration.
I certainly know how it was three years ago when we won ... I know the people of New Orleans and the Saints have that same feeling right now.
Our last stretch is real tough, we've got three of the top 15 teams in the country -- Wisconsin, Ohio State and Michigan State. We got two, and we're trying to get another Sunday to make it even sweeter and keep us in the race for the Big Ten championship
We probably never got into a great rhythm
But there's no reason that team can't go deep in the NCAA tournament. I hope they do.
It's time for the Saints to celebrate
The first thing we had to do was to check Ray's academic status and see if he could get admitted ... Once he was in school, we first went to the NCAA and then to the MIAC to make sure he was eligible.
It felt like every possession was precious out there
The distributors do quite well with ESPN, not just because of the overall value that we deliver, but the ads that they sell on a local basis are worth considerable amount to the individual distributors, and ESPN generates more advertising revenue than any other channel in the cable universe.
He made a great play, that's all I can say about it. Porter made a heck of a play
I'm totally against it. It's totally unfair to constituents. We have one of the largest senior populations, and with unemployment the way it is? Mr. Rendell should probably do some other things — get off ESPN — and worry about some other issues
We are certainly disappointed, certainly having won a Super Bowl three years ago I know how exciting it was for our fans and our team and out players
It would have been nice to play a little better in the final round and catch some teams and get a couple more wins over some Big Ten teams
You never know how it's going to turn out ... The Colts started hot, the Saints came back. We just didn't play well enough at certain times and in certain phases. The Saints deserved to win.
Oh, the Colts lost that game. They had it won, they were up 10 to zip and had Peyton Manning as their quarterback, and their guys just dropped the balls.
We played well in the first playoff game, played well two weeks ago. We just didn't make enough plays against the Saints
I don't know what I want to do yet. I didn't know much about the NCAA so I want to look around. Now I'm finding out more.
Porter made a great play on the ball
