Denzel's strength is his athleticism and his ability to use it to score ... Since late May, Denzel has been on a roll. He was the best player at the Reebok Headliner Camp on the first day, then a month later played well enough at the Reebok Breakout Underclassmen Camp to earn an invite to the Reebok All-American Camp. Another player who went to the Breakout Camp told me that he thought Denzel was the best guard there. 
One minute it was Lute Olson and the next it was John Calipari. I'd look again and there would be Rick Pitino, Roy Williams and Mike Krzyzewski ... It was amazing. I grew up watching those guys on television and there they were, watching my son play. It made me proud.
Denzel started for us and he was one of those players you hate to see leave, because he was a heads-up player with great physical tools ... He had court awareness beyond his years and he had a confident presence about him that you don't usually see in a freshman.
That started everything off ... I played really well there and the invitations started rolling in.
