The following persons were approved as members of the Soyuz TMA- 12 principal crew: Sergei Volkov, Oleg Kononenko and Yi So-yeon, a South Korean national
It will be breaking in a new crew of myself plus Sergei Volkov, will be the new space station commander, and Oleg Kononenko, who will be the new flight engineer, along with myself
This is obviously a pinnacle experience ... The ride up on Soyuz was phenomenal. What a beautiful machine. Of course, the international space station is astounding.
We are holding talks with NASA ... The talks are difficult. It's hard to say whether we shall fully meet our commitments in this financial crisis
