Ed Snider and Peter Luukko want to make this a huge celebration for the fans who have made the Spectrum what it is
Obviously, I am very excited ... I have a great relationship with Paul Holmgren and I am thrilled with the opportunity to continue to work with Mr. Snider and Peter Luukko. They have the team going in a real positive direction. They have a long history of winning here and I am excited to be a part of that moving forward.
I just want to thank the 76ers organization, particularly Mr. Snider, Peter Luukko and Ed Stefanski, for continuing to provide this team with everything necessary to compete and achieve our goals ... My focus remains the same as it was when I first arrived - to do whatever it takes to help us win basketball games.
It's always nice to have someone who can talk your own language ... I played for Nashville for four years and didn't have any Finnish buddies there, and after the game and off the ice, it's always nice to talk Finnish and what's happening back home and all that stuff.
